Delaware County Fair...One for the record books!

Congratulations to all of the 2015 Delaware County Fair participants!

We had a great time and it was awesome to see the great sportsmanship between the clubs that 4H is all about!

Morgan Kiehl and Diva had a fair for the record books! With wins in Equitation, Hunter Under Saddle and Western Showmanship along with top 5's in every other class. She and Diva were Grand Champions in Western Showmanship, netting them a cool monogrammed sports bag!

They also qualified for Versatility where they placed first in Showmanship, first in Hunter Under Saddle and first in Horsemanship, 4th in Reining and missed placing in barrels by only a few seconds. Those scores nabbed them Reserve Champion Versatility Horse! Had they placed in barrels their score would have been multiplied by 5 instead of 4 and they would have walked away 30 points above the rest of the competition! We are so incredibly proud of the team these two have become! It really does show that hard work and dedication do pay off.

Ryan Kiehl and Dan also had a great fair taking home top 5's in most of their classes! They have come such a long way over the past couple of years. Can't wait to see how this team grows and matures in the future!

This was Aubri's first year in 4H. She and Charlie took home top 5 placings in every class they showed in as well! Way to go! Can't wait to see these two grow as a team!

Thanks for making us proud! We love you girls!

"CBS WhiteCollar Ride", who you all know as Clyde has been accepted to the University of Findlay for their Fall Semester! We are very excited about this opportunity for him. While there he will be assigned to a student who will be graded on his progress through the semester. This will be a great opportunity for him to get the exposure to the sights and sounds he may not see here on the farm. This is just one more stepping stone in our goal of showing him in the 3 year old Southern Belle HUS class at the 2016 Congress!

Got to visit with my boy today! I am so happy with the progress Jennifer has made with him! She was able to walk, trot and canter both directions in the large round pen. Clyde looks fantastic and I think he has grown even more since the last time I saw him! Can't wait to visit him again!

We will update with photos and information as we get it! :)
